LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. The player is referred to for his role as King James and is considered to be among the most successful basketball players in history. James has won four NBA Championships and Four NBA MVP Awards as well as the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won 2 Olympic gold medals. James has earned the second highest number of career goals, and the seventh in assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, an all-time record. He was also selected for The NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He has been a part of more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. The streak spans eight consecutive years from 2011 to 2018. In 2021 James was chosen to join make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player to ever in NBA history to accumulate 10,000 or more career points as well as assists and rebounds. James played basketball for St. Vincent-St. Mary High school in Akron, Ohio. James was feted by media across the nation as the next NBA superstar. As a prep-to-pro player, he was selected for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first top pick of 2003's NBA draft. He was named one of the NBA player of the year for 2004. Then he was one of the premier players in the NBA and was awarded the NBA MVP Award both the years 2009 and 2010.
