Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish was an Australian actor. Born on July 7, 1982. Cornish is most well-known for her role in movies including Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) and Sarah and Geostorm (2017). In the latter film, Cornish was awarded her debut Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many others, was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin was able to decide to become an actor thanks to her love and encouragement that she received from her parents. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin honed her skills. Gilpin began acting as a part of Off Broadway productions following her graduation, while also seeking roles on film and television. Gilpin was able to land a regular role on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between the years 2001-2011. Then came tiny roles as a ghost on Ghost Town and The Northern Kingdom. Gilpin kept landing mostly TV guest roles over the next couple of years, before getting her first break in 2013, when she was offered the part of Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was the lead character on Nurse Jackie as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes, until Nurse Jackie was removed in June of 2015. The same year Gilpin appeared in mystery-thriller True Story (2015).
